Attune is built on a simple principle: your health data never leaves your device.
None. Attune has no accounts, no sign-up, and no servers of its own. Everything you log — hot flashes, doses, symptoms, notes — is stored locally on your iPhone in the app's private database.
With your explicit permission, Attune reads sleep, heart rate, resting heart rate and heart rate variability from Apple Health to display trends alongside your logs. This data is processed entirely on your device. Attune never writes to Apple Health and never transmits Health data anywhere. Health data is never used for advertising or shared with third parties, in accordance with Apple's HealthKit guidelines.
Events you log on Apple Watch are transferred directly to your paired iPhone using Apple's on-device Watch Connectivity — not over the internet.
Purchases are processed by Apple. Attune verifies your subscription on-device through StoreKit and receives no payment details, name, or address. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles purchase data.
Dose reminders and check-ins are scheduled locally on your device. No push servers are involved.
Attune sends a small set of anonymous usage events (for example, "onboarding completed" or "report exported") to our own server so we can improve the app. These events contain a random install identifier, the app version and your language — and never any health data, names, emails, or device identifiers. The identifier is not linked to you and resets if you reinstall the app. We use no third-party analytics SDKs and no advertising trackers.
You can export all of your data as CSV at any time from Settings, and delete everything by deleting the app. Because there is no server copy, deletion is immediate and complete.
Attune is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date.
